Podcasts I Listened To

Modern Wisdom by Chris Williamson is a new-to-me podcast where Willaims shares “life lessons from the greatest thinkers on the planet. Understanding the world is hard. This podcast will help.” This podcast is fantastic not only because of the quality of the guests but also because Willams is an incredible interviewer. Here are a few recent episodes I enjoyed:

Tim Ferriss – The Lessons, Hacks & Books That Changed My LifeGary Vaynerchuck – Predicting the Future, Dealing With Hate & Living In The DirtOliver Burkman – Why Our Obsession With Productivity Is All Wrong, and Cal Newport – The Delicate Art of Mastering Work-Life Balance

Music I Listening To

Whispers of Summer by Bonus Points (SpotifyYouTube) is a jam. I’ve been playing this album non-stop. It’s great for warmer temps that we’re all experiencing.

Film I Watched

Rustin by director George C. Wolfe is a film about “Bayard Rustin, advisor to Martin Luther King Jr., who dedicates his life to the quest for racial equality, human rights and worldwide democracy. However, as an openly gay Black man, he is all but erased from the civil rights movement he helped build.” This is a movie all US citizens should watch.

TV Series I Watched

Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones follows “Dan Buettner who discovers five unique communities where people live extraordinarily long and vibrant lives.” I’ve been obsessed with longevity ever since reading Outlive: The Science and Art of Longevity by Peter Attia in 2023. Live to 100 gives you actionable takeaways. you implement from communities around the world with the highest percentage of centenarians.
