To Pixar and Beyond: My Unlikely Journey with Steve Jobs to Make Entertainment History by Lawrence Levy is the story of how Steve Jobs turned his focus to acquiring a little-known graphics company called Pixar after Jobs was ousted from Apple. The story starts with Jobs calling Harvard-trained lawyer and Silicon Valley executive Lawrence Levy to persuade Levy to come run Pixar as Pixar was on the brink of failure. In the book, Levy explains how Jobs, Ed Catmull, John Lasseter, and Levy turned Pixar into a Hollywood juggernaut. Levy gives readers a first-hand account of Pixar’s origin story, what it was like working with Jobs, and the lessons we can learn from Pixar and apply to our personal and business lives.
