Amazon Books I Purchased

How to Stop Worrying and Start Living is the book I’m currently reading. Stayed tuned for a review in my Instagram Books Highlights. I recently purchased Lords of Finance: The Bankers Who Broke the World. This book tells the story of the central bankers who created the Great Depression.

Shows and Movies I Watched

We’re into season 4 of Somebody Feed Phil and are continuing to enjoying this show. Marrakech, Hawaii, and the Mississippi Delta are three episodes we recently watched. Separately, we dove in headfirst into holiday movies. First up for us was one of my all-time favorites Home Alone. Certainly, we started our holiday movies on a high note but plan to keep the pace.

Music and Podcasts I Listened To

I finished The Joe Rogan Experience #442 – Steven Rinella and immediately started listening to The Joe Rogan Experience #1080 – David Goggins. Not only is Goggins an interesting Instagram follow but his Joe Rogan interview is incredible! Here’s the show description to give you a taste, “David Goggins is a retired Navy SEAL and former USAF Tactical Air Control Party member who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is an ultramarathon runner, ultra-distance cyclist, triathlete, and world record holder for the most pull-ups done in 24 hours. http://davidgoggins.com/.” In other words, Goggins is a guy that can change your life for the better.

Wine I Enjoyed

Italo Cescon Vino dell’Amicizia Pinot Grigio 2019 is a dry Italian Pinto Grigio I picked up at Whole Foods. It’s a white wine I was skeptical of but man was I off. This wine has a 4.2 rating on Vivino, is under $20, and is likely available at your local grocery store. In short, this wine is one I plan to keep at the house on the reg.

Points Hotel I Booked

The Eliza Jane is a Hyatt property I booked for our trip over the holidays. We redeemed two World of Hyatt credit card certificates plus another 15,000 Hyatt points to book three nights. One Free Award Night at a category 1-4 property is one of the benefits of the World of Hyatt credit card. The Eliza Jane is a category 4 property that typically costs more than $200/night. By redeeming your Hyatt credit card award night in this situation, you can offset the $95 annual fee.
