Who doesn’t love hotel travel deals? I know I do! The good news is that there plenty of offers to take advantage of this time of year. From IHG Rewards Club to Marriott Bonvoy to World of Hyatt, major hotel brands are getting in on the action.

Hotel Travel Deals
IHG Rewards Club
IHG Rewards Club members who book an IHG Rewards Club stay by December 2, 2020, and stay by June 30, 2021, receive 50% off stays in Asia, Australia, South Pacific, Middle East, and Africa. Check out details of this 50% off stay offer here. Members are required to book a minimum of two nights at participating Regent, InterContinental, Kimpton, voco, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, or Staybridge Suites hotels. All room types are eligible for this offer. The IHG Rewards Club Premier Credit Card earns 20-25x points at IHG and can be a card to use for this offer.
Members who purchase points between November 23, 2020, and November 27, 2020, receive a 100% bonus when you purchase a minimum of 3,000 points. Members may purchase a maximum of 250,000 points during the promotion. IHG processes points’ purchases through points.com so this does not qualify as hotel bonus category spending. So, consider using the Citi Double Cash or Amex Blue Business Plus to earn 2x points respectively.
Marriott Bonvoy
Receive 60% bonus points when you buy at least 2,000 points through November 25, 2020. In addition, you can purchase up to 150,000 points through November 25, 2020. Points purchases are processed through points.com so you will not receive a hotel category spending bonus. Instead, cards like the Citi Double Cash or Amex Blue Business Plus can be ones to consider using.
You can also receive a 15% discount on purchased gift cards. This discount is valid from Monday, November 30, to Tuesday, December 1, 2020. Find more details about the offer here. Gift cards purchased through Marriott code as travel. The Chase Sapphire Reserve is one to use as you earn 3x points on travel spending. Separately, co-branded Marriott cards earn 6x points.
World of Hyatt
Hyatt is offering travelers a 20% discount on stays booked by December 6, 2020, for stays through April 4, 2021. There are more than 900 hotels like Andaz, Hyatt Place, Hyatt Regency, and Thompson Hotels participating in this offer. World of Hyatt cardmembers earn 9x points at Hyatt so this card would be ideal to use for these stays.
Although now expired, you could buy World of Hyatt points at a 30% discount. This offer expired on November 24, 2020. Find more details about World Of Hyatt Selling Points With 30% Bonus here. Hyatt point purchases are through points.com so this will not count as a hotel category spending purchase. Cards like the Citi Double Cash or Amex Blue Business Plus are ones to use when buying Hyatt points.
