In this Frequent Flyer post, I share Amazon Books I Purchased, Frequent Flyer Articles I Read, Recent Points With Q Posts, Shows and Movies I Discovered, Music and Podcasts I Listened To, and Wine I Enjoyed.
Before diving into this post, Ashlee has a fantastic review of Our Fall Road Trip During a Pandemic. Over the past two and a half weeks, we visited Birmingham, AL, Fairhope, AL, Destin, FL, and Navarre, FL. It was actually our first trip since visiting the Bahamas in January and was exactly what we needed. Stay tuned for my review of the trip!

Amazon Books I Purchased
After finishing, 10% Happier Revised Edition: How I Tamed the Voice in My Head, Reduced Stress Without Losing My Edge, and Found Self-Help That Actually Works, I started The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History. However, after a few days, I put this book down as it didn’t do it for me. Now, I’m reading How to Stop Worrying and Start Living.

Shows and Movies I Watched
Somebody Feed Phil was on the menu this week. This is a show we continuously live vicariously through while we’re in a restricted travel environment. Montreal, Seoul, London, and Chicago are episodes we enjoyed.
Music and Podcasts I Listened To
After finishing Joe Rogan’s #783 – John Dudley, I enjoyed #442 – Steven Rinella. From the episode description, Steven Rinella is an outdoorsman, author, and television host. He currently hosts MeatEater on the Sportsman Channel.
Wine I Enjoyed
La PostaPizzella Malbec (Pizzella Family Vineyard) 2018 is a wine I had with my family in Destin on our trip. This wine is smooth and dry and also makes me want to book a trip to the Mendoza wine country in Argentina.
Points Hotel I Booked
The Hyatt Place Sandestin/At Grand Boulevard treated us well on our most recent trip. We have upcoming plans to visit New Orleans so I booked The Eliza Jane. This is a Hyatt property I’ve been wanting to stay at. So, I’m excited to check it out and post a hotel review here on the blog.
