Ashlee and I were slated to fly Air France business class in October 2020 and then the pandemic wrecked these plans as it did to many other travelers. This business class product is one that’s not only easy to find award space on but earning enough miles to book these flights is fairly easy as well.
What’s ideal for US travelers flying Air France business class is that the airline currently flies to 10 US cities. So, finding a transatlantic business class seat on your next European vacation should be no problem.

How to Book Air France with Points
- Air France-KLM Flying Blue: 53,000-71,000 miles (Paris), 53,000 to other European cities
- Delta SkyMiles: 120,000+
- Korean Air SKYPASS: 80,000 round-trip (required)
You can expect to pay 53,0000-71,000 Flying Blue miles for nonstop flights to Paris. The majority of these flights require between 63,000-65,0000 miles. For flights to other European destinations like Budapest, Prague, Rome, Lisbon, Oslo, Zurich, and Athens, you need 53,000 Flying Blue miles.
The best way to book these flights is with 53,000+ Flying Blue miles. Another option is to use Korean Air SKYPASS miles, however, these miles are harder to earn compared to Flying Blue miles because Korean Air only partners with Marriott Bonvoy. Using 120,000+ Delta SkyMiles is laughable.
