Over the past 18 months, the pandemic has changed travel patterns in a big way. One of the major changes we’ve seen is the expiration of airline miles and hotel points. Companies like Singapore Airlines and its KrisFlyer miles program want people back on their planes. So, one way to incentivize travel is to extend the expiration of each customer with a KrisFlyer membership.
For Singapore Airlines, the company uses a simple chart, similar to its KrisFlyer award chart, to show its members the expiration date of its miles. You have to appreciate the simplicity. KrisFlyer miles with expiration dates between January and June 2021 will be extended six months respectively.
